DESIGN THINKING TOOL

2019

The tool was designed as a game to fuel imagination, creativity, and environmental awareness, through the creation of a story with surreal characters and events. 

 

Project in partnership with the Atlantic Youth Creative Hubs and L'École de Design Nantes Atlantique.

The tool was tested in June 2019, at the youth center SPACE* in Exmouth, England.

STAGES:

1. Inspiration:

Inspirational cards are provided randomly to discuss the place, time, and gender of the story.

2. Characters:

Character cards are also provided to decide the main, second, and villain of the story.

3. Event: 

An event-related to environmental issues is picked randomly to be used at the beginning, at the middle, or at the end of the story.

4. Storyline:

Writing the storyline step by step to later (if wanted) be flip and move to create a story with a different time narrative.
